Bill has over 35 years’ experience in mineral resource evaluation, project development, and in the design and supervision of feasibility studies, due diligence assessments and exploration programmes. Based near Glasgow in Scotland, Bill was Founder Director of Glasmin (Isle of Man) in January 2009, then Glasmin Resources (UK) Limited in April 2011, and NAML in 2012.
Paul has over 17 years’ experience in exploration for base metals, gold, platinum, rare earth elements and uranium in Scandinavia, Greenland and Africa; and 5 years in geotechnical engineering on tunnelling projects. Paul is a fluent Norwegian speaker, having qualified with a BSc and MSc in geology from the University of Tromsø, Norway. He gained a PhD for research on the Platreef of the Bushveld Complex, South Africa. Based near London, appointed to the Board of NAML in 2014.
Tony has over 12 years’ specialist mining finance experience with Cutfield Freeman and Nomura International, where he led M&A, debt and commodity-linked finance transactions. He has worked in numerous jurisdictions globally, covering a broad range of commodities. His clients have ranged from major mining companies (e.g., Rio Tinto and Anglo American) to single-asset juniors. Tony also worked in the Financial Services team at Deloitte and Touche, and at Hamilton Court Capital. He has degrees from Merton College, Oxford, and King’s College, London and a Graduate Diploma in Law. Tony is based in London and joined the Board of NAML in June 2015.
Owen has over 20 years' experience in geology and mining from exploration through to mine production. Mining consultant specialising in feasibility studies, project management and project evaluation. More recently involved in mine development projects in Europe and Africa, and is currently overseeing the development and reopening of the South Crofty tin project in Cornwall. Based in southwest England, Owen joined the Board of NAML in January 2017.
Colin has over 35 years’ experience as a mineral processing engineer. He gained a PhD for his work on the froth flotation of sulphide minerals, then worked for Impala Platinum Ltd and Gencor Ltd in South Africa, Ashanti Gold Mines Ltd in Ghana, Osmium Ltd in Siberia, and developed and commissioned a nickel mine in the Pilbara Region, Australia. Colin is currently CEO of Copper Bay PLC, has been working with Glasmin as Mineral Processing Consultant since 2010, and joined the Board of NAML in January 2017.
